Calculator data

The calculator stores up to 50 recent interaction events in the visitor’s browser using local storage. These events can include selected service category, team size, monthly job count, stated administrative hours, stated hourly value, workflow friction, calculated stack level, and vendor-link clicks.

To measure whether the tool is useful, the site sends only an event name—such as calculator view, start, completion, reset, or outbound click—to a first-party daily counter. It does not send calculator answers, vendor names, a browser identifier, contact information, or advertising identifiers. The counter stores only a date, event name, and aggregate count. No third-party analytics or advertising platform receives these events.

Visitors can remove the richer browser-local event history by clearing site data in their browser. Opening the site with ?internal=1 stores a browser-local exclusion flag so owner and testing activity is not sent to the aggregate counter.

Hosting and security logs

Like most websites, the hosting and network providers may process standard request information—such as IP address, browser/device details, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals—to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. Service Stack Lab does not currently combine those logs with calculator answers or use them for behavioral advertising.

External links

Vendor links open third-party websites governed by their own privacy terms. The current links are direct and do not contain affiliate identifiers. A click can still be visible to the destination through ordinary web-request information.

Email, leads, and advertising

The current site has no email signup, contact form, lead form, ad pixel, retargeting tag, or advertising account. A specific privacy update and consent design will be published before any of those capabilities are introduced.

Children and sensitive information

The site is designed for business operators, not children. Do not enter personal, financial-account, health, legal, employee, or customer information into calculator fields. The calculator does not need it.

Changes and requests

Material privacy changes will be dated here before new data collection begins. Because the aggregate counter contains no visitor identifier and the current site does not receive calculator inputs or identifiers through a form, it cannot retrieve or delete a visitor-specific record.
